ROCK Youth
A space where youth learn what it means to live like Jesus through small groups, worship, ROCK talks, and FUN! We are a place that is determined to be a welcoming and safe haven for all youth (grade 9 – grade 12)
We meet every Wednesday from 7:00 – 9:00 PM
Our Weekly Gatherings
When: Wednesday, 7PM 🕖
Where: 1140 Gorham, Newmarket ⛪️ (unless otherwise stated)
Each Wednesday ROCK may consist of several activities throughout the night; sometimes ridiculous and side-splitting, sometimes contemplative or challenging. Always in the context of a friendly, accepting community.
Leadership Development
For decades now, ROCK has had a strong ethos of youth leadership development, evidenced by the abundance of “graduates” who have become marketplace, church and non-profit leaders. Pastor Glenn himself is a product of this investment in leaders.
Even though there are adult leaders present, most of what takes place (small groups, community service, worship, games, etc.) are planned and led by the youth leaders.
There is an annual Student ROCK leadership intensive retreat and training before the start of a ministry year. Students must apply for and attend this retreat.
